Healing the Family Workshop

After loss of a child or loved one, families often find support and healing together

aerialCry For Me, No More, Inc. (CFMNM), a leading national non-profit grief support organization, will be bringing families together again this January for healing. Using transformational methods, the certified and trained members of CFMNM will spend two and half days with families in a serene and rustic environment.

This January 15th through the 17th, the Healing the Family Workshop will take place in scenic Toccoa, Georgia, just an hour and a half north of the Atlanta Airport. Held at the majestic and beautiful Toccoa Conference Center, CFMNM does not only focus on today, but on the future as well.

Just a few of the many testimonials from previous attendees include:

This is the most beneficial workshop I have ever attended to learn how to cope with my grief. Staff was excellent.  Beth Kreke – INLifeguard_stand

After my son died, my life spun out of this world. The world I went to was dark & I was so alone & so sad. Once I obtained the courage to attend this healing assembly of love, I felt the "spin" is over and healing has started. Wanda Coughlin – GA

I felt a weight lifted off me I haven’t felt since my son died. The group facilitators are no less than amazing. The love, nurturing, and compassion I felt from them is something I will never forget. Michelle Beasley – FL

When asked about the overall concept of the Heal the Family Workshop, Deana Martin-Owens, Co-founder and VP stated, “In our two and a half day workshop, CFMNM addresses the myths of grief, the stigmas surrounding loss and the toccoa_dininghalloutdated beliefs society has about dealing with loss and how it impacts life. Unresolved grief can be incredibly detrimental to one's health and affect a person in ways they don’t even realize. Since death tends to be a taboo subject, it is hard for those who have experienced the death of a loved one to get the support and tools needed to successfully manage grief. At the Heal the Family Workshop, we offer a variety of educational services that provide individualized, tailored support to ensure no one is alone in their journey, and help them once again live their lives fully.”

If your family has experienced a loss, no matter how long ago, this workshop will certainly help.
